Welcome Back!

Posted Date: 8/19/25 (8:56 AM)

Dear Parents and Guardians,

As summer winds down, I hope you and your children had a wonderful break, filled with meaningful time together. We're certainly looking forward to welcoming everyone back for the 2025-2026 school year!

Our staff has been working diligently to prepare for students' return. Classrooms are being readied, lessons are being planned, and we're ensuring everything is in place for a strong start. We're eager to reconnect with our students, celebrate their successes, and support them through the natural challenges that come with learning and growing.

This year, we remain dedicated to providing safe, welcoming, and engaging schools where all students can thrive. We understand how important it is for your children to feel connected and supported, and we will continue to strengthen those relationships and ensure they have what they need to succeed. School meals and student supplies will again be provided free of charge to all students this year.

A Note on Attendance

I also want to emphasize the importance of regular attendance. Being in class every day helps students build essential academic skills, form strong relationships with teachers and peers, and stay connected to the school community. Missing too many days, whether excused or unexcused, can disrupt learning and make it harder to keep up.

By prioritizing attendance, families give their children the best chance to grow, achieve, and reach their full potential. If you ever need support with attendance, please don't hesitate to reach out to your child's principal. We have dedicated staff ready to assist.

Thank you for your continued trust and partnership. I can’t wait to see all that our students will accomplish this year. Please feel free to reach out to your school's staff or to my office if you have any questions or concerns - we're here to help.

I am looking forward to a positive and productive school year ahead.

Sincerely,

Craig Hoppes

Superintendent
