The Board meets on the second Wednesday of each month at 5:45 pm and 7:00 pm, at the District Office in the 3rd floor Boardroom (785 Alameda Avenue, Astoria). The meeting calendar, agendas & meeting minutes are available from the school board navigation menu. Meeting minutes are approved by the Board at the following month's meeting before being posted to the public. Individuals who believe a governing body has violated Oregon public meeting laws can submit a grievance to the governing body or file a lawsuit to compel the district to comply with the law. Grievances may be submitted to the Superintendent by email at choppes@astoriak12.org or in person at 785 Alameda Avenue between the hours of 8 AM and 4 PM, Monday through Friday.
